comprehensive discipleship program for all adult believers. We've got
something for everyone: men's ministry, women's ministry, Sunday morning
Bible hour, & in-home small groups.
Men's MinistriesSenior Pastor Roger Bond leads this spiritual tour de force in which he challenges men to live a life of godly masculinity. The main stay of the men's ministry is the Saturday Breakfast held the first weekend of every month at which we not only enjoy hearty food, but we discuss what it means to be a man after God's own heart. Additionally, Pastor Bond offers individualized Bible studies for any man who wants to take the next step in serving God.
Women's MinistriesOur Women's Bible Study is designed to create an atmosphere of sharing and discipleship that speaks directly to the needs of the modern suburban woman trying to balance the various disciplines of life -- marriage, career, kids, personal health, spirituality. Find out what God has in store for you as his unique creation: woman. For those who desire additional fellowship and an opportunity to do some outreach Liberty also offers a crafts ministry called "The Cre8tive Connection."
Beginners Bible Discussion
Beginners Bible Discussion focuses on new believers who are at the earliest stages of their relationship with Christ. This class is designed to answer basic questions of the Christian faith such as how we can be saved, what it means to make Christ Lord of our lives and how to live a new life in Christ rather than the old way. If you feel like the Bible is a complete mystery to you, then this discussion group is for you.
Sojourners Bible Discussion
Sojourners are those who continue moving forward in their faith and who want the challenge of going deeper into the Bible and into practical Christian living. Sojourners gives veteran believers an opportunity to reflect on the Bible with fellow believers to discuss all sorts of things from why we believe in Jesus Christ to practical tips on how to read the Bible for all it's worth.
Small Groups
At Liberty we love our small groups. In fact, we love them so much we believe that they are the single greatest factor in really growing close to God. The reason is simple: community develops faith. The joy of small groups is the opportunity to share faith experiences with others. Small groups are much more than Bible studies or discussion groups, they are families of faith. If you're looking for an enriching environment in which to grow closer to God, then small groups are exactly what you'll want and need. We have several small groups meeting at various times and locations throughout Lake County, and we are always eager to start new groups as God leads. Our philosophy of ministry is to have small groups help start other new small group as they grow in number and maturity.
