Liberty's Values

BIG Enough to Minister, SMALL Enough to be Known

Our Ministry

Liberty's mission is to be a local church that serves our God and Savior Jesus Christ and the community we live in.  Liberty believes it can do this best by being a church where people, whether an individual or a family, can be known by a church family and where you can know and be known by those who serve you and your family.

Our Leadership Team

The staff and leadership here at Liberty Church is comprised of men and women who love, care and pray for every single person in the church. If you have any questions for any of our staff, feel free to reach out and email them or call our church office to speak with them. You can contact the church office at RogerB@FindLiberty.org

  • Roger Bond  - Pastor

Roger serves as a Senior Pastor and Elder. His passion is to share the Word of God in a down to earth manner that people of all ages can see how God is talking to them. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife Robin (Moody Bible Institute and Wheaton College) have eight children - along with many grandchildren!

  • Elders

Our Elders, Roger Bond, Dan Capp and Dan Driscoll are men who have walked in their faith for many years serving in various ministries. They desire to help all at Liberty to grow in their faith through encouragement, prayer and mentoring. You will see them around on Sunday morning and they make themselves available throughout the week to help strengthen your faith.

  • Deacons

Our Deacons, Erich Olsen, Tracy Wruk, Candace Olsen, and Justin Bond,  are men and women dedicated to serving the family of God at Liberty by overseeing the building and grounds and by maintaining a sound and ethical accountability for all of Liberty's financial and material assets. They ensure that the ministries of Liberty Church are well provided for so that they might give their very best in God's work.   Liberty Deacons also serve alongside of the Elders in helping to oversee the many ministries serving at Liberty.

  • Michelle Greenfield - Children's Ministry

Michelle serves as Director of Children's Ministry here at Liberty.  Michelle has a great passion and desire to ignite the love of learning in all of our children; especially in sharing the love of Jesus.   Michelle also serves as the Director of Little Liberty; a Preschool Ministry or Liberty Church.  Michelle is a graduate of  the University of Illinois with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.  She has taught preschool through the 6th grade in both public and in Christian school settings.  She also spent a number of years home schooling her five children.  Michelle and her husband Marc have been part of the Liberty family since 2013.  They enjoy family camping, amusement parks and just being outdoors.

  • Worship Team

Leading our worship celebration are Jenny Olsen, Rick Frankowski, Jeff Hammond, and Candace Olsen. Our worship leaders are passionate about helping us all come before the throne in a spirit of praise. They also have a strong desire for helping others who want to be a part of the worship team find their place.

Our Beliefs

Liberty Church is built upon certain beliefs that we hole to be both true and foundational to our Mission. We believe:

  • The Bible to be the inspired and authoritative Word of God.
  • There is One God existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in The Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood, His resurrection, and in His personal return in power and glory.
  • We believe in the present ministry of The Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
  • We believe that the Salvation of man and the only hope for eternity is by the grace of God through a personal faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins.
  • We believe in the spiritual Unity of Believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • We believe in and practice two celebrations or ordinances: Water Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, both open to all believers. Liberty’s Mission can be summed up by the phrase – Win, Build and Send; “Winning People into God’s Family” through friendships, witness, and invitation. “Building Up the Family of God” through: worship, Bible study, fellowship and mentoring. “Sending People to Continue God’s Work” through: Spiritual Gifts, Training and Opportunities to serve.
